The First Time

They first met at a passing at work,
Their first time alone was walking up the Beacon,
They first kissed outside Her house and it sent shivers down Her knees,
He first asked Her to be His girlfriend on a bench in St. Andrew's church yard,
He first said I love you in His room on a spur of the moment because She was being serious about something important,
She first said I love you too the day after in the same spot,
They first made love of a night-time.
That Was The Beginning and They Were Happy.

She first met His friends on His birthday and She was shy,
She first felt inadequate because of the attention He wasn't giving to Her but givinbg to His female friends,
She first went to see him at University and He hailed Her arrival because He needed Her,
Their first Christmas was merry and full of laughter,
Their first new year was spent with a kiss,
Their first holiday was perfect because they never left each others side,
He first kissed someone else of a Summer when He was home from University,
She felt Her first pangs of paranoia and jealousy,
He first shouted at Her for being paranoid,
They first broke up,
She first saw him having fun with another girl,
He first refused Her a kiss,
They first claimed they wanted each other again,
Their second Christmas was full of tears because She'd had too much to drink,

And They Had Begun to Break.

She first let Herself be taken by someone else,
She first broke His Heart,
This was the second time they broke up,
The first time they loved each other and hated each other,
She first begged His forgivness,
She first pleaded with him,
The first time He made Her suffer,
The first time He came home wanting Her back,
She accepted for a second time,
The first time She felt She was permenantly walking on thin ice,
The first time He was trying to change Her into something She wasn't,
The second time He shouted at Her for being stupid,
The first time She saw pictures on the internet of him playing a 'kissing game'
The first time He told Her that She'd had Her 'fun' and His was harmless,
The first time He told Her He 'really liked' someone else,
This was the first time She was right,
The first time they broke up for good,
The first time She let him know what She really thought,
